Patrick Reed wins Qatar Masters 2026 for second DP World Tour title in three weeks

Patrick Reed continued his red-hot start to the 2026 season by claiming the Qatar Masters at Doha Golf Club, finishing at 16 under par to secure a two-shot victory on Sunday.

The American held off a spirited final-round challenge from Scotland’s Calum Hill, sealing his second DP World Tour title in just three weeks.

Reed’s winning performance in Doha

Reed stayed composed under pressure during the final round, closing out the tournament with clinical ball-striking and timely putting. His total of 16 under proved enough as conditions toughened late in the day.

“This little run I’ve had, two wins and a second, it’s awesome,” Reed said. “We couldn’t ask anything more than what we did.”

Calum Hill mounts late charge

Hill finished second at 14 under, producing one of the rounds of the day. He shot 67, highlighted by a chip-in eagle and four consecutive birdies on the back nine, briefly threatening to turn the tournament on its head.

Despite the late surge, Hill fell just short, recording his second consecutive runner-up finish on the DP World Tour after narrowly missing out in Bahrain the previous week.

Strong Middle East swing for Reed

The Qatar Masters victory follows Reed’s win at the Dubai Desert Classic in late January and a play-off loss at the Bahrain Championship, underlining a dominant Middle East stretch.

Now competing regularly on the European-based DP World Tour after departing LIV Golf, Reed is not eligible for a PGA Tour return until August but has quickly re-established himself as one of the circuit’s form players.

What this win means going forward

Reed’s back-to-back victories significantly boost his world ranking prospects and reinforce his status as a contender heading into the European swing of the DP World Tour season.

For Hill, the result continues a promising run, showing resilience and form that suggest a breakthrough win may not be far away.
